About "Why Not" Adventure

When my wife and I discussed if we wanted to build a web site, we were not sure what we were getting into. We have both always been heavy travelers for business and pleasure. Traveling for the past 20+ years throughout the Caribbean, Mexico and parts of Latin America (U.S. and Europe for business). We have (until 1994 year) averaged at least 40% of our time on the road with a couple of vacation trips a year. The past couple of years have been many more weeks of fun travel.

During that time we have met many wonderful people and stayed in as many wonderful small hotels and villas. Over the past couple of years my son has started to travel with us (he moved in with us when he started college) and today, he is as hooked on the region as we are. We have decided that with our experiences, the personal relationships and first hand knowledge we have, that we would do a limited amount of fielding questions and booking referrals.

For your reference, I have spent the last 15 years as a management consultant to data processing consulting firms and other human resource leasing businesses. Today that work has been reduced greatly (by choice) so I could focus on this and another project. My wife is the Managing Director of a small U.S. subsidiary of a French firm, loving it (on good days) and doing like we all do; making it happen even on the not so good days.

I would have thrown out the city life (we live 25 miles from midtown Manhattan) and moved to the Caribbean region at the end of the 80's, buying a small resort to run. But, there are two opinions in the equation and we have agreed that this is our stepping stone.

It is GREAT to have you visiting. If we can be of service in any way, don't hesitate to ask. We know the region well and if your travel style is not what we do.... maybe we can help you with a good suggestion!
