Hotel
Tierra Maya is a comfortable hotel with AC, swimming pool and stream
bath located in the newest section of Playa del Carmen, north
of Av. Constituyentes between 5th and 10th Av. They pride themselves on personal
service for their guests and they do have convenient and unique services on
site; like their Temazcal steam bath (the Temazcal steam bath
is an invention of the Aztecs where water is poured over heated rocks to make
steam in an adobe hut), restaurant, water-jet pool and swimming pool. This makes
for a more peaceful environment that is just a 5 minute walk to either the main
shopping/restaurant district on 5th or to the popular beach clubs at Playa Tukan
for all the sun, fun and people watching you can handle, including myriad beach
bars and water sports centers. Tierra Maya has 21 standard (single and double)
rooms, and one suite. All have AC, private bath, cable TV and a security safe.
The suite also has a kitchenette, bar fridge and furnished living room. An extra
bed can be brought in for a third person in the room.
