Our accommodations at Quinta Mija consist of twelve apartment- sized units. Each one with full kitchen, private bedroom, large living area and bath. The resort is made up of beautifully landscaped gardens, a swimming pool, a bar and grill, and a roof top sundeck.

SETTING - nestled in a tropical garden with a pool and 4 tree-top terrace with panoramic ocean view, 1 1/2 blocks from beach. Building #3 and #4 have commune sun decks for our guests. We are a family business operation, along with are the maids who have become part of our family over the years.

Maid service is provided 6 days out of the week, (unless you are renting by the month, then it is every other day). There is no maid sevice on Sunday. The girls do not clean kitchens unless you leave a 10 ND (new dollars mexican), tip on the Kitchen Counter with a note. It is custom and well appreciated to leave a 3 ND for each day of your stay. Which you can leave with us in the office at the end of your stay or each day in your room.

Drinking water is provided, it is reverse osmosis. The water from your tap is good for cooking beans, pasta, rice etc... We do have hot water. If you find you don't, 1st test your stove for gas. If you have gas wait 15 minutes, because you share a hot water heater with your building. Also sometimes on windy nites it's possible the pilot has blown out. Just let the office know if you don't have hot water.

Just like everywhere in the world, we need to be conservative with our water supply. Listen for running toliets, and have short showers. Beware, also please remember to put all paper items in waste basket that is provided.

Our bar by the pool is by honor system. Beer and Refresco provided along with a clip board with a list of room numbers. Beers are 4ND and Refresco 2ND. You are billed at the end of your stay. Bar Hours 7:00 to 10:30.

We have coffee at the bar every morning at 7:00 and there is a good bakery 1 block south on the right, Zapp for bread, sweet rolls, and yogurt. Please be considerate of our noise curfew to assure everyone a restful vacation. They are from 9:00 pm to 10:30 am.

Office Hours 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (unless it's an emergency). Ring bar bell for service. We do not provide phone service or laundry service. They are easily available in town.
